This is the second BAPE® store in the US, after the New York shop, located at a premier location at the corner of a block on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Situated in the center of the boutique is a large glass cylinder having roughly 6 meters in diameter, providing both an appropriate rhythm and line of motion to an almost square floor area. Inside the cylinder, sneakers revolve around in the glass enclosure. Making full use of its 4.5 meter-high ceiling, BAPE®'s brand identity has been incorporated by creating a shop that has both a museum-like feel as well as entertaining for the customers.

The Puma Container Store is by NYC/Napoli based office LOT-EK, a practice that has been doing an interesting job by reusing containers. 24 containers are put together to create a 3 storey store with over 11,000 sqf, including a bar/lounge area and 2 decks. The store is currently at the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-2009, and it´s transported to each location (Alicante, Boston, Stockholm) and assembled quickly.

Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream are two lines of rich, luxury clothing established by Pharrell of The Neptunes and Nigo, founder of BAPE. The lines consist of T-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, knits, denim, suits and shirts; outerwear in leather, down, cotton, and technical fabrics; hats, sneakers, underwear, socks and accessories. The items are produced in very limited quantities and are usually sold for high prices and manufactured in Japan.

A Bathing Ape (or BAPE) is a Japanese clothing company founded by Tomoaki "Nigo" Nagao in 1993. The company specializes in street wear, operating stores in Japan, including BAPE, BAPE Store, Foot Soldier and the Bape Exclusive store (located in Aoyama, Tokyo). The company also operates Bape Cuts hair salon, Bape Café and gallery, Bape Sounds records. There are also stores located in Hong Kong, London, New York, Taipei and Los Angeles. Nigo also founded the women's clothing lines "APEE", and "BAPY", the female "couture" clothing line.
