Whale Beach House by Neeson Murcutt Architect

Whale Beach House is located in Sydney, Australia, in the south-east fold of a steep, thickly vegetated hillside, below a towering escarpment, and looks out along the beach to Careel Head. The siting of the house is derived from a pragmatic mapping of adjacent building alignments, northpoint, neighbour’s viewlines and required setbacks. These invisible lines establish the oblique geometries that characterise the plan, reminiscent of Coderch’s Casa Ugalde in Spain. Via Archdaily Visit Neeson Murcutt Architects

Oceanside Luxury Brisbane Home

In Brisbane, Australia, this home sits oceanside on the popular Redcliffe Peninsula. The elaborate 4 level house was designed with the ocean views in mind and from several rooms, thanks to broad expanses of glass and balconies, the views create the illusion of floating directly upon the sea. In addition to the use of glass, the home utilizes a central void that visually connects all four levels, allowing additional daylight and creating visual continuity for occupants. Moving Picture Company’s L.A Office

Patrick Tighe, principal of Santa Monica’s Tighe Architecture, may hate space-age references. But, here we go: Tighe’s work for Moving Picture Company’s (MPC) Los Angeles office IS space-agey. With its pod-like central spaces, curving ledges and white drywall expanses, it evokes memories of retro space movies. The U.K-based MPC is in the business of computer animation, color-grading and digital effects, so you wouldn’t want color, hard edges or natural light to mess with that. l house by Moomoo Architects

Located in Lodz, Poland. It is the first house whose elevation has been made entirely of a plastic insulating material -Thermopian. Usually, this material has been used only for roofing. Thermopian has good thermal, acoustic and insulating properties and it can have any required colour. One distinctive leaning wall is a result of a compromise between a simple shape and the local law, which requires building in line with plot borders. Via archdaily Visit moomoo Architects

KAA Restaurant - Sao Paulo

KAA is a magnificent example of beautiful use of space.Located in Sao Paulo, Brazil and designed by Sao Paulo’s own Arthur de Mattos Casas of Studio Arthur Casas Architecture and Design. A surprising, lush, open-air atmosphere awaits behind an windowless white stucco facade. The main restaurant is a narrow and long nearly 800 square-meter, high-ceilinged space. A massive green wall with more than 7,000 live plants, a retractable roof over a section of the space, a staircase leading to a mezzanine-level lounge, and a dividing wall behind the bar, all add to the magnificent feeling of airy relaxation.
