Terico Winery By Sebastian Mariscal Studio

Located in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico. Inspired by the owner’s wine recipe (1/3 Cabernet, 1/3 Barbera, 1/3 Petit Syrah), the linear design of this “wine lab” is comprised of three main spaces that open completely to the outside and bring natural ventilation into the building. The materiality of the structure ref lects the rough yet sophisticated process of wine production. The corten steel exterior and the white acrylic interior skin contrast the raw natural environment with the refined end product.

Hidden House By Standard Architects

Hidden House is located on a serene 7-acre site Mount Washington, Los Angeles, USA (in Glassell Park where the paved road ends at an old hand written sign marking the entrance to “Hidden Valley.”) The property, which can only be accessed via a half-mile unpaved road, offers expansive views of the city but seems a world away from Los Angeles at the same time. via archdaily
